Database Services

The bIT DBA Team delivers fully managed database solutions—including hardware, software, database administration, and system administration—to support your data initiatives.

Support: Routine tickets are handled Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM Pacific Time (5×9), with 24×7 infrastructure coverage for outages. Each service plan includes 25 hours of DBA consulting time annually used for service requests and work related to your databases.

Oracle Services

Built on decades of SQL-first architecture, Oracle delivers a scalable, feature-rich platform for mission-critical workloads. Its UNIX-optimized engine provides industry-leading performance, reliability, and advanced tuning for large enterprise applications.

SQL Server Service

Microsoft SQL Server is a versatile, Windows-native RDBMS that scales from small deployments to full enterprise environments. With built-in clustering, HA/DR support and first-class .NET/JDBC drivers, it’s often the default choice for vendor-provided campus software.

PostgreSQL Service

PostgreSQL is an open-source, object-relational database celebrated for extensibility, strict standards compliance, and powerful custom data types. It’s a favorite in containerized and sandbox environments, though its native GUI tooling for deep performance analysis isn’t as extensive as Oracle’s or SQL Server’s.

MySQL Service

MySQL remains a go-to open-source RDBMS for high-performance web and lightweight applications. Known for its speed, reliability, and ease-of-use, it still powers countless sites—while newer projects often opt for PostgreSQL or enterprise engines when advanced HA/DR features are required.

Database Administration Consulting

Our DBAs offer hourly consulting for advanced database needs: migrations, ETL advice, reporting, system integrations, and performance tuning. Simple migrations into our environments and normal service requests are often covered by your service rate; complex projects are billed at the standard consulting rate after they exceed 25 hours included in the service.
